A different way
of looking at property

Understanding what makes a home work,

beyond the obvious

Listings tell you what a property is.
Fable looks at how it works

Square footage, bedrooms, price and photographs are useful. But they are not the same as understanding the home.

Fable looks at layout, light, condition, setting, history, character and potential. Whether the proportions work. Where the light falls. Whether an impressive amount of space is actually useful. How the building relates to its street. And which details will still matter long after the photographs have disappeared from the listing.

That insight informs how we advise buyers and renters, and how we position and represent homes for sellers and landlords.

That is where Fable begins.

Look closer

Fable is built on the idea that the property itself should shape the advice. What we learn about the home changes what happens next.

For buyers and renters, it helps narrow the field, compare homes intelligently, identify what deserves further investigation and decide what is genuinely worth pursuing.

For sellers and landlords, it helps identify the qualities that should lead the marketing, what is worth addressing before launch, how the property should be positioned and what will give the right audience a reason to respond.

That thinking runs through Fable Select, the Fable Perspective, and the way we represent our clients.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

20+ years professionally across residential property, property finance and investment
Director-level leadership across operations, advisory teams and complex property transactions
Extensive experience in negotiation, client representation and transaction strategy
Advising private clients, investors, developers and landlords

I founded Fable after moving from London to Boston, bringing together professional property experience with a genuine passion for architecture, design and the details that make a home work.

My strength is in understanding both the property and the situation around it. I’m good at identifying where value lies, what really matters, where the risks are and what is worth fighting for. I’m commercially minded, solution-focused and a strong negotiator - comfortable pushing hard when it matters, holding a position when it is justified and finding another route through when a transaction becomes complicated.

That judgement has been shaped by years across residential property, finance, investment and complex transactions. It means knowing when to challenge an assumption, when to change the approach and how to keep a deal moving without losing sight of the client’s position or the outcome we are trying to achieve.

My passion for property goes beyond the transaction itself. I pay attention to proportion, light, layout, architectural detail, setting and potential - the things that determine how a home actually works and how it should be understood, positioned and represented.

Moving to Boston gave that experience and passion a new setting - brownstones, Back Bay townhouses, Beacon Hill streets, converted industrial buildings and an architectural language that often feels surprisingly familiar.

Fable grew from that combination of experience, judgement and genuine enthusiasm for property, with a belief that good representation should be clear, candid, strategic and genuinely useful.

Curated Property

Not everything needs equal attention. Fable focuses on homes worth looking at more closely.

Honest Insight

Good advice means seeing both what works and what deserves another question.

Expert Representation

Understanding the property is only part of the job. The other is representing your interests clearly and effectively.

Every home has a story.
It just needs to be told.

Whether you’re buying, selling or renting in Boston,
it starts with understanding the property and what matters to you.
